RUBBER COMPOSITIONS AND ARTICLES THEREOF

In accordance with the purpose(s) of the present disclosure, as embodied and broadly described herein, are vulcanized rubber compositions with improved physical properties such as, for example, treadwear, rolling resistance, snow performance, chip and flake, and dry performance. In one embodiment, the present disclosure provides for an uncured rubber composition that includes a styrene butadiene elastomer, a cis 1,4-polybutadiene elastomer, silica, and a plasticizer. The uncured rubber compositions can be vulcanized to produce a variety of components used in the production of tires.
