CLOUD-BASED SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING A BATTERY

A cloud-based battery diagnostic system includes a communication device configured to collect data from a vehicle and transmit a battery status diagnostic result to the vehicle. The cloud-based battery diagnostic system also includes a processor configured to diagnose a battery status of the vehicle using collected current data and collected past data stored during a predetermined period of time, in response to determining that abnormality diagnostic information is included in the collected past data. The cloud-based battery diagnostic system additionally includes a storage configured to store data and algorithms executable by the processor.
