The system may estimate the location of a vehicle using at least two of the long-range sensors, based on the intersection of the distances between the vehicle and each of the long-range sensors. Such a location can be used to identify how many vehicles are within the area being tracked and where each of those vehicles are located. The system may further be configured to generate a parking availability map based on the estimated location of the vehicles. Additionally, the long-range sensors may use vibrational or acoustic signals to determine the distance between each long-range sensor to generate a map of the finite area of the parking facility.",
