According to an aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a pyrofuse ignition apparatus including a pyroswitch including a high side to which an operating voltage is applied, a low side to which a ground is connected, and an internal resistance between the high side and the low side, a low side switch that outputs an ignition start signal to the low side of the pyroswitch, a constant current supplier that is connected to the low side of the pyroswitch and supplies a constant current to the internal resistance of the pyroswitch, a high side switch configured to turn off an operating voltage applied to the high side of the pyroswitch when diagnosing the pyroswitch, and a resistance monitoring unit configured to monitor a voltage difference across the internal resistance of the pyroswitch.
