The cathode active material layer comprises a first plurality of pores having a diameter of 0.08 μm or less, and a second plurality of pores having a diameter of greater than 0.08 μm and 1 μm or less. A ratio of a second porosity to a first porosity is in a range from 1.75 to 3.6.
