An electrode for a secondary battery includes a substrate, a first electrode active material layer on at least one surface of the substrate, the first electrode active material layer including a first electrode active material, and the first electrode active material including at least one of crystalline carbon, amorphous carbon, or combinations thereof, and a second electrode active material layer on at least one side of the first electrode active material layer, the second electrode active material layer including a second electrode active material, and the second electrode active material including at least one of silicon-carbon nanocomposite or silicon oxide.
