A disk brake, in particular for commercial vehicles, with a brake disk, a brake shaft (16) whose axis of rotation lies parallel to a main plane of the brake disk, a brake pad situated on the same side of the brake disk as the brake shaft (16), a pressure piece (34) between the brake shaft (16) and the brake pad, a first limiting device which restricts the displaceability of the pressure piece with respect to the brake disk in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation of the brake shaft to a predetermined first extent, and a second limiting device (42) which restricts the displaceability of the brake shaft (16) with respect to the brake disk in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation of the brake shaft to a predetermined second extent, wherein the brake shaft upon actuation presses the pressure piece and thus the brake pad against the brake disk. The second limiting device has a first stop (32) on the pressure piece (34) and a second stop on the brake shaft which interacts with the first stop in the sense of restricting the displaceability.
