"textContent": "Rotary piston internal combustion engine with a housing that has walls forming a working chamber and in which a rotatable rotary piston, which extends through the working chamber and moves along the walls forming a running surface with edges of the rotary piston during rotation, is arranged. In the working chamber, a region of the working chamber serves as a combustion chamber with an associated combustion chamber wall for the ignition of fuel located in the working chamber. In the combustion chamber wall, at least one microwave-transparent window forming the running surface is arranged, on the side facing away from the combustion chamber of which a device for coupling microwave energy in the form of microwaves into the combustion chamber of the working chamber is located. The running surface for the rotary piston is designed flat and has at least one microwave-transparent window in the combustion chamber region, so that volume ignition of the fuel is possible in the combustion chamber. The rotary piston internal combustion engine enables precise control of the start of volume ignition of a fuel, for example fuel-gas mixture, in a combustion chamber, so that optimal low-emission combustion of the fuel is achieved with an efficiency increased compared to conventional rotary piston internal combustion engines. In general, the invention enables safe ignition of lean fuel-air mixtures.",
