AIRCRAFT SEAT WITH SEATING AND RECLINING POSITIONS

Aircraft seat with a support structure (22), a first seat surface (26) and a first backrest part (30) which is pivotably attached to the support structure (22) in its lower area. In a first position of the first backrest part (30), the seat allows a person to sit upright. The first backrest part (30) can be folded down such that it extends horizontally above the first seat surface (26) in a second position. The rear side of the first backrest part (30) forms a second seat surface (38). Between the support structure (22) and the first backrest part, a second backrest part (40) is arranged in an expandable or unfoldable manner, so that the seat (20) in the second position of the first backrest part (30) forms a lying seat for the person.
