DEVICE FOR VENTILATING AN ENVIRONMENT OF A STEERING WHEEL AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE DEVICE

The invention relates to a device for ventilating a steering wheel environment of a vehicle, containing at least one adjustable air outlet (3) in the vicinity of the steering wheel, wherein the adjustability of the air outlet (3) is designed to reach at least one imaginary point on the steering wheel at different rotation angles of the steering wheel (1) with an air stream (4), as well as a method for operating the device. In the inventive device, the at least one air outlet (3) can be adjusted synchronously with a steering wheel rotation, so that the air stream (4) during and/or after execution of the steering wheel rotation approximately follows the movement of the at least one imaginary point on the steering wheel (1).
