"textContent": "The invention relates to a cooling system (1) of a motor vehicle (2) with a coolant circuit (3), an exhaust gas recirculation path (4), and an exhaust gas recirculation cooler (5) integrated therein. Essential to the invention is: - that a pressure detection device (10) for detecting a coolant pressure in the coolant circuit (3) is provided, which is communicatively connected to an actuating device (12), - that a valve device (13) communicatively connected to the actuating device (12) is provided for controlling an exhaust gas flow (14) entering the exhaust gas recirculation cooler (5), - that the actuating device (12) is designed such that it at least partially closes the valve device (13) and thereby at least reduces the exhaust gas flow (14) flowing into the exhaust gas recirculation cooler (5), provided that the pressure detection device (10) detects a predefined pressure drop. This makes an effective and at the same time cost-efficient protection of the exhaust gas recirculation cooler (5) against overheating possible.",
