The invention relates to a sulfur-crosslinkable rubber mixture, in particular for the base of tread with cap/base construction of vehicle tires, and a vehicle tire. The rubber mixture contains: - 50 to 100 phr of at least one natural and/or synthetic polyisoprene and - 20 to 90 phr of at least one silica and - 1 to 35 phr of at least one liquid polybutadiene, which is terminally organosilicon-modified, and has a weight average Mw of molecular weight according to GPC of 500 to 12000 g/mol.
