"textContent": "The invention relates to a charging connector (1) for charging of electric vehicles (11), comprising a mating interface (2) with electrical contacts (3) for mating the charging connector (1) with a corresponding socket (10) of an electric vehicle, an electrical connection (4) for galvanically connecting a charging cable (12) the electrical contacts (3), and a handle (5) for grabbing and handling the charging connector (1) with a human hand. According to the invention the charging connector (1) further comprises a motion sensor (6) for detecting a motion of the charging connector (1). In this way, a charging connector (1) for charging of electric vehicles (11) is provided which may prevent a user from being harmed due to damages of the charging connector (1) which are caused by dropping the charging connector (1) to the ground.",
