METHOD FOR DETERMINING TYRE WEAR IN TYRES OF A VEHICLE AND VEHICLE FOR CARRYING OUT THE METHOD

The invention relates to a method for determining tire wear on wheel tires (10, 11), in particular super-elastic tires or pneumatic tires, of a vehicle (1), in particular an industrial truck, with at least two wheel axles, in particular at least one front axle (5) and at least one rear axle (9), as well as a vehicle (1) for carrying out the method. It is proposed that by means of at least one distance sensor (2) arranged on the vehicle (1), the distance of the distance sensor (2) to a floor (7) on which the wheel tires (10, 11) of the vehicle (1) rest is measured, and by means of at least one position sensor (3) arranged on the vehicle (1), a pitch angle of the imaginary connecting axis between the wheel axles of the vehicle (1) relative to the floor (7) is measured, and the measured values as well as a predetermined value for the wheelbase of the vehicle (1) between the wheel axles (5; 9) are evaluated in a data processing device (8), wherein in the data processing device (8) changes in tire diameters at the wheel axles (5; 9) are calculated from changes in the measured values during the operating time of the vehicle (1) and from this the tire wear on the wheel tires (10, 11) of the vehicle (1) is determined.
