HUBCAP AND WHEEL WITH HOT MELT PART

A hub cap (4) comprises a disk (41) provided with at least one opening (43), adapted for air circulation capable of cooling parts arranged at the level of a wheel (3), and at least one heat-fusible piece (42) for obscuring these openings. This obscuring prevents air circulation through the openings, and the heat-fusible pieces are adapted to decompose and thus release the openings beyond a critical temperature, advantageously on the order of 100 °C. This hub cap makes it possible to avoid damage in case of accidental overheating. Wheel and vehicle, in particular motor vehicle, equipped with such a hub cap.
