BACKDOWN PREVENTING DEVICE FOR VEHICULAR PEDAL DEVICE

When the dash panel is displaced backwards, the intermediate lever 26 is not pivoted relatively in an outputting direction, but a second connecting pin 42 of a coupling link 28 is detached from a cutout 46 of the intermediate lever 26 upon engagement of a contact section 54 provided in the second pedal bracket 36 with an operation pedal 18 to release a connection between the intermediate lever 26 and the operation pedal 18 is released, and the operation pedal 18 is made to pivot relatively in the direction of the tread operation. Regardless of whether or not the pivoting in the outputting direction of the intermediate lever 26 is possible due to the operation rod 32 not being able to be pushed in, the backdown of the tread section of the operation pedal 18 is prevented as appropriate and a backdown preventing effect is stably achievable.
