GRAPHICAL DEPICTION OF AN EXCLUSION ZONE ON AN AIRPORT MOVEMENT SURFACE

A graphical depiction of an exclusion zone (200) on an airport movement surface is disclosed. The graphical depiction may be displayed on a display device (112) of an aircraft. The display device may be further configured to display an aircraft ownship symbol. A location of the aircraft ownship symbol on the display device may be dependent on one or more signals related to the location of the aircraft relative to the airport movement surface. The display device of the aircraft may be configured to exit a taxi mode or enter the taxi mode based on a comparison between the exclusion zone and the one or more received signals.
