LIQUID RETENTION DEVICE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE BATTERY

The invention consists of a liquid retention device (8) for a battery (4) of a motor vehicle (2), comprising: a retention pan (12) with a bottom wall (14) and side walls capable of containing the liquid, said bottom wall comprising a passage (24) of said liquid, said passage forming a first funnel (18) under the bottom wall (14); the device further comprises: a second funnel (26) configured to be able to be disposed under the outlet (25) of the first funnel (18) in order to receive the liquid and guide it towards a position laterally offset with respect to the outlet (25) of the first funnel. The invention also consists of a vehicle (2) comprising such a retention device (8).
