CHARGE AIR COOLER

The invention relates to a charge air cooler (1) comprising - an air outlet box (5) and a condensate collector (6) for collecting condensate (7) separated particularly in the charge air cooler (1), - a condensate line (9) which is connected via an inlet (10) to the condensate collector (6). It is essential to the invention that the condensate line (9) opens via an outlet (11) into the air outlet box (5) of the charge air cooler (1), wherein during operation of the charge air cooler (1) a pressure differential p1 < p2 prevails between the inlet (10) and the outlet (11) of the condensate line (9), which pressure differential enables condensate drainage from the condensate collector (6) via the condensate line (9).
