  "textContent": "The present invention relates to a method for controlling an air dryer device (40) of an air pressure system (I). The air dryer device (40) is configured to dry compressed air (A) from a compressor (20) operable by means of a drive member. Said air dryer device (40) comprises a first and second air dryer cartridge (42, 44) and an outlet (46a) for venting air. One of said cartridges (42, 44) is connected to the compressor (20) via a feeding line (22) and the other of said cartridges (44, 42) is connected to said outlet (46a). The method comprises the step of, prior to activating the compressor (20), shifting the connection between said cartridges (42, 44) at least once by connecting the cartridge (42, 44) connected to the compressor (20) to the outlet (46a) and the cartridge (44, 42) connected to the outlet (46a) to the compressor (20) such that the pressure in said feeding line (22) is reduced.
