VALVE

An exhaust control valve comprising a valve body defining a fluid flow path through the exhaust control valve. A valve member for controlling fluid flow rate along the fluid flow path is rotatably connected to the valve body. A drive member extends into in the valve body and is provided for moving the valve member relative to the valve body. A mechanical seal is provided for limiting fluid leakage from the fluid flow path out of the valve body along a clearance gap adjacent the drive member.
