Vehicle pneumatic tires in radial construction with a profiled tread (1), a multi-ply belt (2), bead regions with bead cores (4), and with a radial carcass which in combination contains plies (6, 6b, 6c; 7, 7a, 7b) with textile reinforcement carriers and with reinforcement carriers made of steel. At least one ply (6, 6b, 6c) with textile reinforcement carriers encloses the bead cores (4), whereby in each case one ply (7, 7a, 7b) with reinforcement carriers made of steel extends at least in the sidewall regions and into the regions radially inward of the edge regions of the belt (2) and is bonded in an overlapping region, which has a width (b) of at least 15 mm, to the at least one ply (6, 6b, 6c) with textile reinforcement carriers.
