Provided is a battery case (13), including: a first cell accommodating portion (20A), which has a rectangular parallelepiped shape, and is configured to accommodate a first number of battery cells (21) therein; and a second cell accommodating portion (20B), which has a rectangular parallelepiped shape, and is configured to accommodate a second number of battery cells (21) therein. The second number is smaller than the first number. The second cell accommodating portion (20B) is shorter than the first cell accommodating portion (20A) in one of three directions parallel to sides of the battery case (13). The battery case (13) further includes: a board accommodating portion (20C), which is adjacent to the second cell accommodating portion (20B) in the one of the three directions, and is configured to accommodate a circuit board (51) therein; a first partition wall (155), which is arranged between the first cell accommodating portion (20A) and the board accommodating portion (20C); and a second partition wall (156), which is arranged between the second cell accommodating portion (20B) and the board accommodating portion (20C). According to this structure, it is possible to achieve thinning of the battery, and to separate the circuit board from the battery cells.
