"textContent": "The present invention relates to a light guide for use in an automotive environment and adapted to receive light from a light source, the light guide comprising at least one elongated light guide element (2) having, in cross section, a front surface (4) and a back surface (6), the front surface (4) at least partially comprising a light decoupling area; and at least one connection element (8, 10) protruding, in cross section, from an upper and/or lower surface of the light guide element (2) for mechanically connecting the light guide to a receiving structure. The connection element (8, 10) is located close to the back surface (6) of the light guide element (2) and the back surface (6) is at least partially convexly curved in cross section. In addition, over at least 30 % of the minimum length of the light guide element (2) and over at least 30 % of the maximum height of the light guide element (2) in cross section the following applies: 0.65 < (B B /H L + B B /(10 * D L )) < 30, wherein B B = convex bending radius of the back surface (6) of the light guide element in cross section; H L = maximum height of the light guide element (2) in cross section; and D L = maximum depth of the light guide element (2) in cross section.",
