Electrical machine arrangement (40) for a motor vehicle powertrain (10), comprising a machine housing (44) that can be fastened to a powertrain housing (26), a stator (46) that is fixed with respect to the machine housing (44), a rotor (50) that is mounted concentrically to the stator (46) within the machine housing (44) and has a rotor axis (48), wherein an air gap (60) is defined between the stator (46) and the rotor (50). The rotor (50) has a rotor bearing section (98) that is rotatably mounted with radial clearance (99) with respect to a housing bearing section (96) of the machine housing (44), wherein the radial clearance (99) is smaller than the air gap (60).
