Source
A hydromechanical transmission (3) with a power-split mechanical transmission (8) and a continuously variable hydrostatic transmission (9) cooperating with the mechanical transmission (8), wherein a hydrostatic unit (24, 25) acting as a pump is hydraulically connected to a hydrostatic unit (25, 24) acting as a motor for the transmission of drive power, and wherein the hydromechanical transmission (3) has a first operating mode in which switching between a first forward driving range and a first reverse driving range is possible by means of a coupling arrangement (28, 31), wherein according to the invention the hydromechanical transmission (3) has a second operating mode in which the hydromechanical transmission (3) is operable without shifting, fully hydrostatically in a second forward driving range and a second reverse driving range.
