A seating detection apparatus includes a detection portion detecting load information inputted from a detection direction that is predetermined, a connector including a connection port for connecting to an external circuit and arranged on a plane which is different from a plane on which the detection portion is arranged in such a manner that the connector overlaps with the detection portion in the detection direction, a conduction portion transmitting the load information from the detection portion to the connector and arranged from the detection portion towards the connector in a state of being bent, and a holder holding the detection portion and the connector, and including an attachment portion which is attachable to a support member supporting a cushion member of a seat for a vehicle from below.
