DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MAINTAINING AND IMPROVING THE AIR QUALITY WITHIN AN INTERIOR

The invention relates to a device for maintaining and improving air quality in an interior space (3) with sensors (7, 8) for detecting air quality in the interior space (3) and in an exterior space (2) and a filter device (5) for purifying air. It further comprises at least one air outlet (4) for supplying purified air into the interior space (2) and a control device (6) by means of which control signals for the filter device (5) can be generated based on the signals from the sensors (7, 8) and display data of a first graphical representation can be generated. By means of a freely programmable display (9), the display data can be displayed. The device according to the invention is characterized in that the display (9) is arranged in the region of the air outlet (4) and the display data comprise information about the purification of the air. The invention further relates to a method for maintaining and improving air quality in an interior space (3) and to a motor vehicle (1) with a device according to the invention.
