METHOD FOR PERFORMING A GEAR CHANGE IN PARALLEL HYBRID VEHICLES
DRIVE
October 5, 2016
The invention relates to a method for performing a gear shift in a parallel hybrid vehicle, whose drive train comprises an internal combustion engine, an electric machine operable both as a motor and as a generator, and a transmission. During a gear change of the transmission, the electric motor is used for speed synchronization of the transmission with a target speed of the internal combustion engine. According to the invention, the speed synchronization is carried out via torque-controlled operation of the internal combustion engine and speed-controlled operation of the electric machine (S3), whereby shortened shift times are achieved.
