This invention is concerning an automotive radar installation structure that allows a radar main body to be assembled to a vehicle in a simple arrangement and can also contribute to stable radar performance, and a fascia retainer used to attach a bumper fascia as an exterior part of a bumper to a main body of the vehicle. The structure includes a radar main body 122 formed in a flat solid shape and having a transmission/reception surface 130 provided at one surface to transmit/receive a radio wave, and a fascia retainer 120 used to attach a bumper fascia 108 as an exterior part of a rear bumper 104 at a rear of the vehicle to the vehicle main body. The fascia retainer 120 has a fixation portion 150 fixed to the vehicle main body, and a radar installation portion 128 provided in the vicinity of the fixation portion 150 and having a recessed shape into which the radar main body 122 is fitted so that the transmission/reception surface 130 of the radar main body 122 faces outward of the vehicle.
