The invention relates to a vehicle, in particular a hybrid vehicle or an electrically driven vehicle, with at least one electric machine and with an air conditioning system (1), with which at least one high-voltage component, in particular at least one energy storage device and/or at least one power electronics as a high-voltage component, can be cooled. According to the invention, the air conditioning system (1) has a rechargeable cold storage device (13) as an energy buffer, which can be used and/or discharged at a defined predetermined point in time and/or in a defined predetermined operating situation, in particular with the engine switched off in standby operation for after-cooling, for cooling the at least one high-voltage component. Furthermore, the invention relates to a corresponding method for operating an air conditioning system (1).
