A pneumatic tyre (1) includes a pair of bead portions (3) having respective bead cores (5) therein, each bead core (5) defining a core innermost end in a tyre radial direction, and an inner liner (9) having an air-impermeable property and extending between the pair of bead portions (3), wherein in each of the pair of bead portions, the inner liner (9) comprises an innermost end in the tyre radial direction located inwardly of the core innermost ends in the tyre radial direction, and the pair of bead portions has a bead base diameter (D) being less than 99.7% of a rim diameter (Da) of a standard wheel rim (R) on which the pneumatic tyre (1) is to be mounted.
