A system (100) includes an engine case (102). A heat exchanger (104) is included inside the engine case. The heat exchanger includes an air passage (106) and a fuel passage (108). The air passage and fuel passage are in fluid isolation from one another, but are in thermal communication with one another for exchange of heat.
