A charging system for an electric window covering (2), which includes a motorized assembly (24) controlling the movement of the electric window covering (2), and a power supply device (23) including a rechargeable power unit (231a) and a first remaining power detection circuit (2321) is disclosed. The charging system comprises a charging device (4) which provides power to the power supply device (23), a comparison module (6), and a notification unit (7). The first remaining power detection circuit (2321) detects and transmits the potential magnitude of the power unit (231a) to the comparison module (6). By actively presenting a warning at a notification unit (7) to the user when the power of the power unit (231a) is lower than a predetermined threshold, the power supply device (23) and the charging system can extend the run-time of the power unit (231a).
