Disclosed is a battery module. The battery module according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; a casing configured to surround the battery cell stack; and a heat transfer member disposed between any one battery cell of the battery cell stack and another battery cell adjacent to the any one battery cell to cool or heat the battery cells, wherein the heat transfer member is installed to be spaced apart from the battery cells and is configured to contact the battery cells to cool or heat the battery cells.
