VEHICULAR DRIVE DEVICE

An intermediate wall (22) is provided with a return oil hole (25a, 25b, 25c, 26) through which oil discharged from a friction engagement device returns toward an oil reservoir. A chain drive (36) is disposed adjacent to the intermediate wall (22). The chain drive (36) transmits a driving force from an input member and/or a rotary electric machine to an oil pump. There is provided an oil guide (OG) through which oil flowing through the return oil hole (25a, 25b, 25c, 26) is guided to a region other than a chain placement region (CH) inside a case (2). The chain placement region (CH) is a region where a chain of the chain drive (36) is placed.
