A battery pack includes: a battery cell (10) including a first surface (11), a first electrode (10a) on the first surface (11), a second electrode (10b) on the first surface (11), a second surface (12) opposing the first surface (11), and a lateral surface (13) connecting the first surface (11) and the second surface (12) to each other; first and second leads (40a, 40b) above the first and second electrodes (10a, 10b), the first and second leads (40a, 40b) being respectively connected to the first and second electrodes (10a, 10b); an insulating adhesive layer (30) between the first surface and the first lead (40a); and an insulating cover layer (50) on the first and second leads (40a, 40b), the insulating cover layer (50) including an opening through which portions of the first and second leads (40a, 40b) are exposed.
