Disclosed is a vehicle display device that is mounted in the indoor space of a vehicle and is capable of changing the area of a display. The vehicle display device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a flexible display mounted in the indoor space of a vehicle and configured such that the screen area thereof is changeable, a sensor configured to sense the screen area, and a controller configured to control the display state of information, outputted through the flexible display, according to the sensed screen area.
