DPF PROTECTION METHOD AND APPARATUS

A DPF protection method, comprising: obtaining a switch control signal of an engine controller; determining, according to the switch control signal, whether the engine controller needs to be powered off; if yes, obtaining temperature information of a DPF; determining whether the temperature information is less than a preset temperature; and if yes, sending the switch control signal to the engine controller, so that the engine controller stops running. Also provided is a DPF protection apparatus. The DPF protection method and apparatus delay the time when the engine controller stops running, and effectively protect the DPF.
