A lamp system 100 is mounted on a vehicle 200 provided with a HUD system 210. A variable light distribution lamp 110 irradiates a beam to a road surface 900 with a variable light intensity distribution so as to draw a pattern PTN. A controller 130 controls the variable light distribution lamp 110 in cooperation with a HUD system 210.
