[0003] [Solution] [0004] A rotary connector device 1 includes: a rotator 10 and a stator 20 that engaged with each other in a relatively rotatable manner and form, in an interior thereof, a housing space S having a cylindrical shape; and an FFC 100 housed in the housing space S in a wound manner. The rotator 10 includes: a rotating-side ring plate 11 having an annular shape and an inner-circumferential cylindrical portion 12 having a cylindrical shape and forming an inner peripheral surface of the housing space S. The stator 20 includes: a stationary-side ring plate 21 having an annular shape, and an outer-circumferential cylindrical portion 22 forming an outer peripheral surface of the housing space S. The FFC 100 has a first end coupled to a stationary-side connector 40 that is electrically connected to an electric device item disposed at a side of the rotator 10. The stator 20 includes an insertion portion 24 that allows a first end side of the FFC 100 to be inserted from the housing space S toward an outer side of the rotator 10 along a ±Z direction.
