[0003] RESOLUTION MEANS [0004] The configuration of the occupant restraint system according to the present invention includes: an airbag that expands and deploys on both sides of an occupant; a tensile cloth that is stowed from within the seatback of the seat to within the seat cushion; angle detecting means for detecting the reclining angle of the seatback; and internal pressure control means for controlling the internal pressure of the airbag according to the reclining angle, wherein the tension cloth is deployed on the side of the seat by breaking open the surface skin of the seat through expansion and deployment of the airbag to retain the surface of the airbag on the side opposite the occupant, and the internal pressure control means reduces the internal pressure of the airbag when the reclining angle of the seatback is a prescribed angle or higher during expansion and deployment of the airbag.",
