In this application, a polymer protective film with high tensile strength, high puncture strength, high elongation, and high electrolyte holding capacity may be formed on the surface of the lithium-metal negative electrode in the negative electrode plate. Using the negative electrode plate of this application in a lithium-metal secondary battery can effectively slow down or even inhibit growth of lithium dendrites, reduce consumption of side reactions between an electrolyte and lithium metal, and improve initial charge and discharge coulomb efficiency of the lithium-metal secondary battery, thereby significantly improving cycle stability and safety of the lithium-metal secondary battery.",
