An approximate data candidate is calculated based on the basis data candidate, and an evaluation metric that evaluates the approximate data candidate is calculated. A regression model representing a relationship between the evaluation metric and the basis data candidate constituting the approximate data candidate is generated. Selection by the selection process, calculation by the evaluation metric calculation process, and generation by the regression model generation process are executed at least once based on the selected basis data candidate. The coefficient data is calculated based on the basis data candidate constituting the approximate data candidate of the evaluation metric having a desirable value when a predetermined termination condition is satisfied.
