Cylinder head assembly for an internal combustion engine, comprising:- a cylinder head (2) having a flame deck (3) at least partially provided for covering a main combustion chamber (4) and a cavity for receiving a pre-chamber component (5),- a pre-chamber component (5) arranged inside the cavity facing the flame deck (3), wherein the pre-chamber component (5) comprises a pre-chamber (6),wherein the pre-chamber component (5) comprises a first sealing surface (7) which is in contact with and preloaded against a corresponding second sealing surface (8) of the cylinder head (2) sealing the cavity of the cylinder head (2) .
