An electrode for a rechargeable battery includes a current collector having a first region and a second region. A dry electrode film is positioned on at least one surface of the first region and not positioned on the second region. Each of the first region and the second region includes a plurality of protrusions formed on the current collector. An average height of the protrusions in the second region is greater than an average height of the protrusions in the first region.
