Disclosed are a battery module with enhanced safety and a battery pack including the same, and more particularly a battery module including a plurality of battery cells, a module frame being configured to accommodate the plurality of battery cells, an end plate located at each of a front and a rear of the plurality of battery cells, a busbar frame being configured to electrically connect the plurality of battery cells to each other, a terminal portion having one side connected to the busbar frame and an other side projecting outwardly of the end plate, and a blocking member being located at a position adjacent to the terminal portion and a battery pack including the same.
