A bracket and a battery pack are provided. The bracket includes a substrate (110). A side of the substrate (100) away from a battery cell (200) is provided with multiple grooves. A side of the substrate (100) adjacent to the battery cell (200) is provided with multiple bosses (110) corresponding to the grooves. A top of each of the bosses (110) is configured to support a corresponding one of the battery cells (200) to form a channel (190) between at least a portion of a bottom of the battery cell (200) and the substrate (100). A bottom of the boss (110) is provided with a first pressure relief slot (120). The first pressure relief slot (120) is configured to communicate with the battery cell (200) when the battery cell (200) undergoes thermal runaway to relieve pressure in the battery cell (200).
