The present disclosure relates to an electrode for a secondary battery and a secondary battery comprising same. The electrode for a secondary battery according to one embodiment comprises: a coated portion where an electrode active material layer is positioned on a current collector and an uncoated portion where the electrode active material layer is not positioned on the current collector; and an insulating coating layer disposed on at least a portion of the uncoated portion and including an electrode insulating polymer, wherein the thermal expansion coefficient of the electrode insulating polymer may be 66 um/m°C to 127 um/m°C.
