The present disclosure relates to an electrolyte solution for a lithium-sulfur battery and a lithium-sulfur battery including the same, and the electrolyte solution for the lithium-sulfur battery includes a non-aqueous solvent, a lithium salt, a nitrate and an aryl derivative, wherein the non-aqueous solvent includes a heterocyclic compound including a single oxygen atom (O) or a single sulfur atom (S) in a ring structure; and a glycol ether, and wherein the aryl derivative includes at least one of compounds represented by any one of Chemical Formulas 1 to 4.
